Hi, I’m Áine Adams.
I've always been drawn to the details most people don't notice — a habit that started as a kid building tiny worlds, and never really left. I'm less interested in how something looks than in how it makes someone feel when they encounter it. The sensation of holding something beautifully made, noticing clever branding in a place you didn't expect it. That's what keeps me in it.
My career spans in-house, agency, and freelance work across more than a decade, and I've seen the industry evolve a lot along the way. The tools keep changing, but what doesn't is the value of someone who has spent years learning to notice what actually matters.
My Approach
I do my best work when there's something real underneath the brief – a cause, a place, a human story. People I've worked with say I can turn my hand to almost anything. I think that's less about range for its own sake, and more about not getting attached to one style. What I stay attached to is the outcome, and making someone feel something on the other end.4
The small stuff matters
The details are where it happens — the right typeface, the right tone, not reaching for the obvious when something unexpected would resonate more.
Built to last
I’m interested in creating timeless visual systems rather than following trends – work with clarity, longevity and depth.
